just realised that everyone's talking about valentine's day. &having valentine's blues. why uh? im like very totally happy with myself being single leh :D i think if im attached i'll be super stressed on valentine's. hope that i'll stay single forever :D am i weird? ._. &btw when we asked one of our primary school friends (who's in acsi) whether they exchange vday presents in boys school, he totally gave us the dont-be-ridiculous look and went "NOOOOO!" lol. what's there to be shy about? xD

screwed bio&amaths D: what to do. didn't expect myself to be able to learn when i was so bloody tired on wednesday night that i was seeing double images ._. hell to common tests.
thursday's rehearsal was, erm, rather screwed. social is getting more and more worrying. i dont know what will happen if they take over. who will take the initiative to do things? i dont even see the enthusiasm in the exco. and he calls himself social exco. if it goes on like this one day mrs look/tanhuizhen will decide that social is really useless and just disemble our com or something. it's not impossible. they seriously need to buck up. i dont know how to talk to them. certain things fong cannot tell them, and it'll be even more inappropriate for me to tell them. &the seniors are always so busy. anyway we cannot expect them to keep coming back also. they've got their own jc life to handle, which is hetic enough for them. i am already very very thankful that bernard takes the time and comes down, looks at their rehearsals, and comments. but there's only so much that we can do. if they dont want it, no one can force anything upon them. no one. social. please buck up. for your own goodness sake.
went shopping with fong ivan stanley after rehearsal. well not exactly shopping, just rushing around and popping by as many shops as we can cos by the time the rehearsal ended it was already 7plus. &i've to rush home before 10. sorry guys ): well but at least i bought another pair of hoops :D
today's concert was rather good, looking at the standard of their rehearsals yesterday. i mean, though lion dance was abit lag time at certain moments, but CO improved alot. they finally managed to hit the highest note which they'd not been able to hit for the past rehearsals. wushu and cl's skit were fabulous. i really think so. i think they're among the few interesting performances put up by wushu&cl. in comparison the teachers' item was quite boring. ok la at first when they went up everyone was cheering and screaming, but very few people understood what they sang la, plus they just stood there and bearly half of them opened their mouth, after a while i was falling asleep. but mrlim can sing very well! :D he's like super bilingual! :D
the only major flaw that i saw was the emcees. not trying to pick on anyone here, but they're seriously CMI. most of the time they're self-highing/making comments that sound super sarcastic/saying the wrong things at the wrong time/anti-climax/move aimlessly about the stage/dont know how to promote the atmosphere/couldnt coordinate with each other/monotonous. johnathan actually went down the stage when he was asking for volunteers from the year3s. like hello? you're the emcee! whatever happens you have to stand on the stage! and when the old folks came in peien just suddenly totally ignored johnathan and went to introduce them. im not saying that you cannot introduce them la. but find an appropriate time to do that can! he was like saying something halfway and you just totally ignore him like that, the audience will go like "huh what's happening?" like after the whole entire introduction of the performance then introduce them luh. the most important quality of an emcee is to know how to react to sudden changes during the performance isn't it? i think we should train more emcees. rv's going to be a 6-year school&for now our emcees really cannot make it. you cannot keep using people like jiamin jiamin jiamin right. after a while it gets boring!
enough rantings about the emcees. social did a good job today for the curtains(: good job social! :D it's not perfect yet, but i can see that they improved &this time is the best since they ever started doing backstage duties(:

social went to lunch together at vivo &walked around until 2plus. then headed to jurong point where guansen bought his brother&yvonne's presents. (and not choonyen's. ohhor guansen. you're in deep trouble :D) and i bought kiat's valentine's day present too - finally. before he doesnt friend me ._.
went back to meet primary school friends&ate dinner with them(: it's been a long long time since i last went out with them. i think got 3years at least luh ._. therefore im a good girl today &didnt pangseh them!(:
super tired now. going to sleep. happy chinese new year people! :D :D
