BACK FROM OBS! but it's so fun that i dont want to come back alr >.
day one arrived at OBS camp2 at about 10am and listened to briefing &split into different watches. i guess it was just warming up &everyone's kind of quiet. and i actually thought that we'll be one dull watch. BUT HOW WRONG I WAS! :D :D i love my nila utama! :D :D :D shuyan huiping yanling xiaoxi eunice cynthia efasha hafiz harry benson kokleong kuangkai aloysius kumar yongsheng yangjin, and of course vivian and LJ, our dearest instructors!<3 anyway, the first dat was basically taking out all the stuff and getting them checked/cleaned. supposed to have belay school in the afternoon but it rained so we just sat in a corner and did admin stuff and talked. but everyone was like so quite that i thought we would be boring >. but it turned out totally the other way round! :D :D ok first day nothing much to talk about. skip to day two(:
day two woke up super early and went kayaking practise. &i realise that i've got seasick. kokleong kayak with me then he abit the cham la huh :D but the other instructor, LJ, was like super fatherly and keep coming to try to heal me though im like, not very teachable cos when he told me to look at stationary objects at distance i refused :p but he was fatherly! :D remind me of mrdesmondlim! :D :D when washing the kayaks it was when we began to get closer cos EVERYONE STARTED TO SUAN ME ABOUT HAVING SEASICK ZZ. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I GO EVERYWHERE ALSO TIO SUAN LO! /: &because of this COMMON TOPIC everyone got alot more bonded zz. then we started packing the super heavy backpack and went tracking. it's really really really damn heavy la. when i stood up i almost pomp backwards >. and imagine TRACKING with that! when we almost reached it poured and we all stopped at a thai temple to take shelter. then i told junhong's kiwi joke lol. then everyone suan me again /: like comon people, i was trying to entertain you! that stupid kuangkai shake his head everytime i talk la can zz. he said im super dramatic >. WHERE GOT DRAMATIC! and cooking in the dark was fun :D just that 4pigs -namely eunice harry benson cynthia, went to hog all the canned food then everyone else were complaining lol. and harry snatched my maggie mee rah. no toilets in the wild. then kokleong woke up in the middle of the night to shit lol. wahaha someone too paiseh to tell everyone that he's going to polute the precious mother earth huh :D :D
day three woke up early and didnt brush teeth >. cos no mirror tap :D hiked abit further to a lake and listened to vivian about building raft. well in the beginning it was abit messy and slacky so we didnt manage to finish within the time limit. but we succeeded in the end(: well ok. at least the raft didnt fall apart in the water :p quarry jump was fun& the water was super clean and nice compared to seawater. everyone was like 'can we swim can we swim?' heh. while waiting for everyone to get up onto the raft they suan me about seasick again. one seasick got so much to say huh -.- tracked to camp1 for climbing. it rained half way down the hike and we didnt have place to take shelter so had to track woth ponchos on. all i can say is, what an experience! super heavy backpack plus wet clothes plus poncho plus rain! finally reached camp one, dumped our bags on the first patch of grass that we saw lol. and it's literally DUMP :D rock climbing was tiring but fun :D i belayed the super skinny aloysius! then benson belayed me and i was, um, struggling to get up so we cheated and he ask me to just relax then he and harry PULL THE ROPE AND PULLED ME UP TO THE TOP! :D it felt like i was flying :D so they were like more tired than me when it's me who did the climbing lol. then it was our first proper dinner in the first 2days! all the guys took super alot of rice lol. benson was like calling the uncle 'GORGOR' just to get more dishes luh that glutton! and yangjin's plate was A MOUNTAIN cos he was the last person in line and the uncle gave him really alot of food. then benson was like 'wah if i knew i would have stood behind then dunid call him gorgor' LOL. after dinner it was supposed to be bath time but all of us were super lazy to go wash up so we all decided to be smelly save time and just do powder bath :D but LJ refused to brief us about the next day's sea expedition cos he say we very stinky he dowan to smell us. so we got no choice but to waste the powder &go bath. nyeh. me and kokleong were the day ICs for day four. which means we became the sea expedition leaders. AND IM SEASICK. so you can imagine what that bunch of meanasses did. two watches were supposed to go kayaking together, us and the watch chengho. and while LJ asked the leaders to stand up and do self intro, before i could say anything the whole lot of them went 'SEASICK! SEASICK!' zz la seasick also need to advertise! now good already la the other watch also know im seasick and ALSO START TO SUAN ME. like, WHATTHEHELL?! DEAR GOD, WHAT WRONG DID I DO?! HOW COME I GO EVERYWHERE ALSO TIO SUAN BY THE WHOLE WORLD?! ok continue. the sea ex leaders for chengho are sebas and yanru. yanru is this super funny girl who got alot alot of comments for everything lol. and sebas is shuai! :D but he very few words la everything we say he also 'anything la anything la' like a very got opinion. and he got like one million mosquito bites on every leg LOL. he said it's ALL FROM THE CAMP, which was only THREE DAYS so far la. so i was like 'u know why ur leg so many bites? cos you're very black.' and made him dudiao. but really la he's damn black even worse than guansen can. and according to jianhui, he refuse to put insect repellent while the whole group put. YOU SEE THE POINT? if you're the mosquito, and everyone put things that piss you off, only one person never put, who will you go to? serves him right that he got so many bites la huh. anyway. the four of us were supposed to plan for the journey the next day when everyone else went to sleep. yanru was like, 'tmr i kong the pot at 5am and wake them up' lol. and we talked cock discussed for one hour, until birin, the instructor for chengho, came to chase us to sleep. in the middle of the night it stormed again. so vivian and birin came to chase us to the hall from our tents, afraid that our low qulity tents will become swimming pools lol. in the middle of the night, i think about 3am, huiping suddenly (REALLY suddenly) sat up and went, 'aye people wake up.' so shuyan, who was beside me, sat up. then i woke up also, worried that we'll be late for the sea ex. then i was like 'what's the time now?' and huiping went 'hurry up get up.' so i asked the second time 'what's the time now?' then she 'hurry up hurry up!' then i was like pissed already and went 'WHAT'S THE TIME NOW?' then guess what she did? she said 'ok i think we should go back to sleep now.' LIKE A WHAT THE HEEEEELL?! i totally went stunned luh can. tried so hard not to go over and punch her before i lie down again >. &the next morning she said she COULDNT REMEMBER THAT SHE DID THAT. win already luh! sleeptalk until lidat luh huh >.
day four sea ex day! which is kayaking around the pulau ubin island(: sebas shouted at everyone to get up at about 510am. very amazing of him since he rarely opens his golden mouth :D i think it's also cos yanru didnt wake up on time to kong the pot la lol. we were later than according to plan, set off at 9am instead of 8. me and kokleong being the navigators (the lead kayak) were very worried that we wont be on time to catch the right tide. then we chiong until siao :D later sebas told me that they were super pekcek doing the sweeper (the last kayak that's supposed to keep everyone together) cos we were so fast lol. and yanru screamed at everyone to quickly kayak until her voice was all gone >. later i realise that they couldnt catch up cos i mistook eunice&harry's kayak to be yanru&sebas's kayak. cos yanru and eunice came from the same school and DECIDED TO WEAR THE SAME CLOTHES FOR EACH INDIVITUAL DAY. super lame luh can. and on that day they were wearing this very bright long-sleeved green shirt. so when i looked back and search for yanru&sebas's kayak (which is supposed to be the last kayak) and see eunice then think that the sweeper's not not very far back, and kayak even faster lol. so later at the end of the trip when we were asked to share our thoughts as sea ex leaders sebas went 'very frustrating.' :D :D because of me&kokleong's kancheong-ness, we completed more than three quater of the journey by 1pm lol. then we beached up for lunch. and got caught in another storm. so the 32 stinky and wet people from nila utama&chengho, plus our four instructors all squeezed into a super small sheltered place lol. and jianhui that glutton from chengho kept eating raisins -.- can you believe him?! we all squeeze until want to die already he still down there 'pass me the raisins pass me the raisins!' where got space to pass luh! >. and the girls were talking about how black sebas is. &i tried convincing them that he's not a chinese LOL. then he just gave the 'yea yea yea' face (like guansen! why all the black face people got same face :D) and cynthia almost believed! :D :D when the rain became drizzles we continued our journey. sebas theyall became the navigators and me&kokleong sweepers. because it was raining and we had plenty of time, we went slower and slacked quite abit. we were very happy being the sweepers (unlike sebas :D) cos keep talking cock with the slow pigs behind. jianhui keep coming to us and sing duno what stupid song la -.- sing until so nanting somemore :p but we were one hour earlier than the planned timing. when i shared about my thougts as the sea ex leader everyone (including chengho people) suan me again. like excuse me? i tried very hard to kayak already lo, considering the fact that im seasick >. what a bunch of meanasses! even sebastian this kind of forever dont talk also come and suan me zz. then we cleaned up, ate dinner, and tracked back to camp2. at night everyone were exchanging contacts like mad. but our paper all wet la very hard to write >. kumar's email damn funny it's something like mrfantasticF4 or something lidat lol. and benson's number is damn easy to remember so we all were shouting it so loud to everybody in the camp i think all the other watches also know his number liao. even jianhui, who came to eat with us the next day, remembered his number the first time we told him. see la this's the bad thing of having a so-easily-remembered number :D :D
day five woke up, cleaned up and nothing much. joked for the last bit and then suddenly felt like i didnt want to go home anymore though the campsite's so wet and we had to sleep in swimming pools /: i really really miss everyone of them. we joked for the last few hours then it was time to step into the boat and say goodbye to pulau ubin ): but of course, noone forgot to suan me about my seasickness for the last time when we were on board -.- me eunice cynthia harry benson aloysius huiping and jianhui jerome jiawei from chengho went to hougang mall to eat. then benson &harry were felt cheated by KFC's ultimate chicken meal cos it's SO SMALL. lol so listen up people, dont go and eat KFC's ultimate chicken meal! especially when u're hungry :D :D went home and stinked up the whole train &blocked everyone's way with our bags :D :D &jianhui was singing again zz.

but it's really really a life changing experience. really really dont regret going this camp. it's the best camp i've ever gone to(: OBS ROCKS :D
for you. i've been thinking. and like i said, im still in a mess but, one thing im very very sure is i cannot bear to let go of what we had and what we have, and what we will have. i simply cant.
